Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Senior SUE Technician to join our Emerging Markets & Services team. The role focuses on field leadership, accurate designation of underground utilities, and collaboration with engineers, surveyors, and clients across the US.

You will work primarily in the field, utilizing geophysical equipment, and supporting project planning, design, and construction with high-quality utility data. A strong background in SUE and ASCE 38 is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of utility locating or SUE experience.
• Experience operating geophysical locating equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of ASCE 38 standards helpful.
• Ability to travel frequently to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews on complex projects.
• Select and apply geophysical equipment to designate layouts.
• Maintain and upkeep of vehicles and sites.
• Coordinate survey activities with SUE work.
• Supervise crew activities and train others.
• Travel to facilities as necessary.
