Job summary

Bolton & Menk seeks a Senior SUE Technician to join our Emerging Markets & Services team. You will perform SUE field assignments and lead crews, applying geophysical methods to accurately document underground utilities on varied projects.

Must have 2+ years in utility locating or related fields, a high school diploma (associates preferred), and be able to travel. Salary range: $60K–$95K with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in utility locating, SUE, surveying, or related field.
• Experience operating geophysical locating equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of ASCE 38 standards and utility quality levels.
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform SUE field assignments on routine to moderately complex projects.
• Lead a field crew on complex projects.
• Designate underground utilities using geophysical tools.
• Maintain vehicle, sites and equipment; manage traffic signage.
• Coordinate survey activities and train crew members.
• Travel to project sites and work away from home as needed.
