Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Senior SUE Technician to join our Emerging Markets & Services team in the United States. The role focuses on field data collection, utility documentation, and supporting planning and design for infrastructure projects.

You will work with engineers, surveyors, utility owners, and contractors to deliver high-quality utility data while traveling to project sites as needed. Strong knowledge of ASCE 38 and quality levels is preferred; 2+ years of related experience is

Qualifications

• 2+ years in utility locating, SUE, surveying, construction inspection, or related field services.
• Experience operating geophysical utility locating equipment preferred.
• Experience with vacuum excavation equipment or utility exposure techniques preferred.
• Basic understanding of ASCE 38 standards and utility quality levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform SUE field assignments on routine to moderately complex projects.
• Lead field crew on complex projects.
• Select and apply geophysical equipment to designate underground utility layouts.
• Maintain vehicle, sites and equipment; manage traffic signage.
