Job summary

SAM is hiring for a SUE field specialist in Knoxville, TN. You will lead 2D/3D mapping crews, designate utilities, and collect data using total station and RTK GPR, ensuring field programs run safely and efficiently.

The role requires 4–5 years of SUE field experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel as needed. ASCE 38 familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• SUE field work experience required, with ability to lead field crews.
• Experience designating utilities and collecting data for 2DB/3DB mapping.
• ASCE 38 knowledge or guidelines is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead SUE QL-A and QL-B field crews on projects.
• Coordinate in-field with clients and utility owners.
• Operate field equipment (total station, RTK GPR) to collect horizontal/vertical data.
