Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a field-focused SUE Technician to designate utilities and support mapping projects across diverse environments. You will lead two-person designation teams and ensure data collection for vault diagrams and QL-B mapping.

Required 1–2 years of SUE field experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel for extended periods. Safety certifications must be maintained, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1–2 years of SUE field experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain safety certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Designating utilities in rural and urban environments using geophysical equipment and field surveys.
• Lead two-person designation teams on SUE QL-A and QL-B projects.
• Collect data for vault diagrams and mapping projects.
• Coordinate with internal survey crews and travel as needed.
