Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Subsystem Engineer in Tucson, AZ, to lead electrical subsystem activities for missile guidance electronics. You will integrate hardware, develop tests, and drive design iterations with cross-functional teams and government customers.

Onsite work in a lab setting with occasional travel is expected. The ideal candidate has a STEM degree, 5+ years in hardware development or testing, and an active DoD clearance, with experience in RF, analog, digital, and mixed-signal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with electrical hardware development or testing.
• Active and transferable DoD clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate electronics design during development.
• Develop and document subsystem requirements and test plans.
• Lead fail investigations and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
