Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Subsystem Engineer to join the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems Team. You will help integrate and validate Guidance Electronics, develop subsystem requirements, and support hardware testing in office and lab settings.

This role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience, active DoD clearance, and readiness for occasional travel and cross-program collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical hardware development and/or testing.
• Experience in subsystems, systems engineering requirement development and/or requirement validation.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Work environment is office and lab-based with occasional field work.
• Integrate and validate electronics; analyze hardware designs; document subsystem requirements and test plans.
• Mentor and mentee culture within Missile Systems.
• Support multiple programs; travel may be required.
