Job summary

Progressive is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, design, engineering, procurement and construction activities for high-value substation and transmission line projects in the United States. You will oversee a matrix team of engineers, construction staff and external contractors, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of project management experience.
• Experience coordinating external engineering consultants and internal project stakeholders.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Ability to support multiple active projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to perform field visits and coordinate with construction crews.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for managing planning, design, engineering, procurement and construction activities on high-value utility projects.
• Act as single point of contact with customers and coordinate matrix teams including internal departments and external consultants.
• Develop study reports, work scope, bill of materials, constructability plans, RFPs, specifications and contract documents.
• Proactively communicate project updates and maintain records including status reports and risks.
• Establish and monitor project budget and schedule; provide leadership to support performance.
