Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Substation Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for large substation projects. The role spans data collection, calculations, equipment recommendations, and adherence to budget, schedule, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Minimum 11 years related work experience.
• Active PE license beneficial; engineering registration support.
• Experience in structural design of substations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design engineering and analysis on substation scopes.
• Prepare calculations following standard methods and BV policies.
• Manage budgets, schedule and quality requirements on projects.
• Mentor team members and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Support client relations and potential business development.
