The role focuses on data collection, 3D CAD drafting, and close collaboration with engineers to produce precise, code-compliant designs for moderate complexity projects. A strong background in drafting, regulatory knowledge, and effective communication is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and 7+ years in drafting and design support.
• Strong knowledge of drafting/design principles and applicable codes/regulations.
• Ability to perform technical computations and interpret plans.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze site data and drawings for design support.
• Use 3D CAD and collaborate with engineers to resolve design details.
• Ensure plans meet code and specification requirements.
• Prepare multiple design versions for review by engineers.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients as needed.
