Mesa Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Substation P&C Engineer responsible for upper-tier design and checking of deliverables for a high voltage substation. This includes SLDs, control house layouts, diagrams, BOMs, cable schedules, and turnover docs.

You will work under project engineers with emphasis on accuracy and adherence to standards. Required are strong communication skills, the ability to work within budget/schedule, and a PE license preference; candidates should be ready to contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years of Substation P&C design experience.
• PE license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform upper-tier design and/or checking of substation deliverables.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations per IEEE/client standards.
• Ensure work meets budget and schedule with high accuracy.
• Coordinate with Engineering Supervisor and Program Manager to define project objectives and design approaches.
• Conceptualize initial design approach for major project phases and lead engineering work.
