Qualifications

• Must have PE license and 8+ years in protection and controls for HV substations.
• Experience with single line diagrams, control house layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to manage design deliverables within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design, check, and oversee deliverables for HV substation projects (renewables and utilities).
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and cable schedules per IEEE standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers/Principal Engineers and design teams.
• Define design objectives and approaches for large/complex projects.
• Provide conceptual design direction for major project phases and ensure quality control.
