RES Group in the United States is seeking a Sr. Estimator – Substation to prepare cost estimates for renewable energy and utility-owned substations, balancing labor, material, equipment, and productivity costs to craft competitive bids.

You will lead estimator teams, review RFPs, perform quantity take-offs up to 500kV, collaborate with Preconstruction, and ensure timely, accurate estimates across EPC and BOP scopes.

Formación

• Associate's degree or high school with extensive field estimating experience.
• 5+ years' estimating substation or HV systems.
• Travel up to 15% and valid driver's license.
• Experience with EPC and Balance of Plant estimate structures for proposals.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare cost estimates for substation EPC projects up to 500kV.
• Lead or participate in estimator teams for bid/RFP responses.
• Review RFPs and determine pricing requirements.
• Coordinate with Preconstruction for engineering deliverables.
• Create bid proposal documents and ACE/VAL forms.
• Present scope and risks for reviews.
