Job summary

Pike Engineering seeks a senior Substation Engineering Leader in Florida. Lead a skilled team of engineers, designers, and drafters to deliver safe, cost-effective substation engineering and design services.

Responsibilities include project management, client relations, and staff development, with a focus on quality and adherence to codes and standards. ABET-accredited engineering degree and PE licensure required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed.
• 10+ years of engineering practice with substation experience.
• Experience supervising engineers/designers and CAD staff.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management to engineering/design team.
• Perform project management and controls with Responsible Charge for engineering.
• Ensure cost and utilization goals through planning and scheduling.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, practices, and QA systems.
• Manage client relations and partnerships with clients.
