Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer in our United States team. The role focuses on high voltage substation design and project management within a collaborative, project-driven environment.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in-office and two remote days, with potential relocation support based on location. Travel to client sites may be required to support projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree.
• 7+ years of experience in the design of medium voltage power systems.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget/time constraints.
• Experience tracking project information: schedules, expenditures, status reports, client interface.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in project conceptualization, work planning, and execution.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare reports presenting technical/project information to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with peers through Communities of Practice to grow expertise.
• May travel to client sites as needed.
