WSP's San Diego office is seeking a Substation Senior Coordinator Electrical Drafter in a hybrid role. You will support the Power & Energy Substation Team with technical design and CADD tasks for projects spanning planning, transportation, and infrastructure.

The role emphasizes accuracy, standards, and collaborative problem-solving with engineers. Qualified candidates have 5+ years drafting/design support experience, strong codes knowledge, and the ability to work under minimal supervision

Competenze

• High School Diploma required; 5+ years post-education drafting experience.
• Familiar with drafting/design support principles and codes.
• Ability to learn new techniques and work with minimal supervision.

Mansioni

• Provide local technical design and CADD support for substation projects.
• Collaborate with engineers to prepare precise drawings and specifications.
• Verify calculations and interpret contract plans; resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare multiple design versions for engineer review.
• Ensure drawings comply with codes and project requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams and adhere to safety policies.
