Job summary

CDM Smith's Perry Group seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial experience in substations to lead complex projects from start to finish.

You will create project definitions, schedules and budgets, manage costs and change control, prepare client billings, monitor risks, coordinate stakeholders, and mentor junior project managers. This role requires a bachelor’s degree, 13+ years of experience and PMI/ CCM/ DBIA certification within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list)

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Manages project costs and is responsible for profitability.
• Prepares and reviews client billings and monitors payments.
• Monitors project risks and escalates as appropriate.
• Leads change management and coordinated stakeholder communication.
• Prepares monthly reports, bid packages, and project closeout activities.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
