Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering seeks a Senior Physical Engineer – Renewables (PPM) to perform engineering design and analysis under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer. Location: remote or Lakewood, CO.

You will support client projects, deliver quality documents on time and within budget, and lead project phases with QA/QC and mentoring of junior engineers. Requires 5+ years of experience and a 4-year degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• FE or PE licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Phase Manager (PPM): lead project scope, budget, tasks, client interaction, and execution with technical quality.
• QA / QC work: implement QA plan and check designs for quality and accuracy.
• Training: mentor junior engineers and designers in physical design of substations & BESS facilities.
• Writing: develop technical guidelines and training documents.
