Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering, Inc. seeks a Senior Physical Engineer in the Renewables group to lead engineering design and analysis under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

You will support client projects and deliver quality work on time and within budget. You will manage projects as Phase Manager (PPM), perform QA/QC on designs, train junior engineers, and contribute to technical guidelines and training documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• FE or PE licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MathCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite; strong written and oral communication; good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects as Phase Manager (PPM), manage scope, budget, and client interaction.
• Perform QA/QC on designs and check work for quality and accuracy.
• Train junior engineers and drafters in physical design of substations and BESS facilities.
• Prepare guidelines and training documents.
