Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Physical Engineer – Renewables (PPM) for the United States, with remote work option. The role focuses on leadership, project management, and delivering high-quality physical design for substations and BESS facilities.

You will mentor engineers, perform design reviews, and ensure adherence to codes and budgets while supporting client projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• FE or PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Phase Manager (PPM): lead project scope, budget, tasks, client interaction and execution with QA oversight.
• QA / QC: ensure quality and accuracy of work by designers and engineers.
• Training: mentor junior engineers and designers in physical design of electrical substations & BESS facilities.
• Writing: develop technical guidelines and training documents.
• Review submittals for conformance with owner and client specs and codes.
