Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to defend bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, coordinate between legal teams, and advise business units on evolving laws. You will handle mediations, arbitrations, and occasional trials, with opportunities to travel within California.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and active California State Bar in good standing.
• 4+ years of proven litigation experience or strong litigation-type skills with ability to manage complex disputes.
• Willing to travel throughout California for trials and court appearances as needed.

Responsibilities

• Represents insured individuals and the Company in defense of bodily injury and property damage lawsuits; subrogation and Allstate Financial cases.
• Prepares for and conducts hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
• Presents pre- and post-trial motions and supports colleagues in scheduling and calendar management.
• Offers counsel to business clients on day-to-day legal matters and coordinates with cross-functional teams in L&R.
