Job summary

Serco Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to support the PMS450 Acoustics Systems Integration Team on the VIRGINIA Class Submarine program. The role involves technical assessments, design reviews, and coordinating with Navy stakeholders at the Washington Navy Yard.

The successful candidate will hold an active Secret clearance, have a Bachelor's in a technical field, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics, technical or related field and 5+ years of experience.
• Excellent communications and analytical skills; ability to brief program officials and influence actions.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation of proposed designs and arrangements.
• Liaise with program stakeholders and ensure technical compliance.
• Lead and participate in project reviews and briefings.
• Provide acquisition management planning and execution support.
• Lead technical discussions for project reviews and deliver formal briefings.
