Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Submarine Electrical Engineer in the Washington, DC area. You will provide senior technical expertise for U.S.

Navy submarine systems, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and guide maintenance and improvements to ensure fleet readiness and safety of sailors. You will support the Electrical Systems Branch of In-Service Submarine Systems Engineering Division, coordinating with PMTs, contractors, and naval entities to develop engineering strategies and ensure lifecycle

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Equivalent combinations for degree + experience considered.
• 5+ years DoD/armed services experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review operation and technical documents (PMP, PMS, DFIs, etc.).
• Review engineering drawings and provide recommendations.
• Prepare briefs for audiences up to Flag level.
• Coordinate IPTs and support Ship Design/Engineering Managers' Technical Authority.
• Oversee CBM and RCM practices for system life-cycle sustainment.
• Plan and manage engineering development programs affecting system performance.
