Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist to lead pre- and post-award activities, draft SOWs, NDAs, and LT PAs, and ensure FAR/DFAR compliance. This hybrid role covers multiple CA locations with no remote work.

You will collaborate with contracts, engineering, quality and planning teams, drive cost savings, manage supplier performance, and help shape strategic supplier relationships while upholding procurement integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in purchasing, subcontracts, or contracts; or 9 years without a degree.
• Must have government purchasing/subcontracting experience.
• Experience in MRP systems and SAP, Costpoint, or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier evaluations and performance monitoring to ensure quality and reliability.
• Manage all pre-award and post-award subcontract activities, including onboarding suppliers, drafting RFPs and RFQs, analyzing bids and negotiations, and closing subcontracts.
• Coordinate with contracts, engineering, quality, planning and operations to finalize SOWs and draft NDAs and LTAs.
• Ensure compliance with public laws, company policies, import/export regulations, and flow-down clauses.
• Refine processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, mitigate risks and drive program success.
