PCL Industrial Construction Co. is seeking a Subcontracts Manager in Houston, TX to lead subcontracts strategy, risk assessment and supplier relationships across renewable energy projects.

The role requires hands-on construction experience, strong knowledge of contract law and proven negotiation skills, with focus on pre-award activities, RFPs and contract close-out. This position is based in Houston and offers generous career growth and employee-owned benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 6+ years in subcontracts/procurement in industrial construction.
• Knowledge of contract law and EPC/industrial methods.
• Strong negotiation and documents management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-award activities and interface with project teams for RFPs.
• Provides feedback to ensure contract requirements compliance.
• Bid evaluation and negotiations up to award for lump sum turnkey, EPC contracts.
• Organize presentations with contractors and clients.
• Develops and transmits RFPs; manage pre-mobilization deliverables.
• Ensure contract compliance and timely progress reporting.
• Close-out of contracts and final invoices.
