Job summary

CenterPoint Energy, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Capital Projects Contracts to lead procurement and contract management for EPC projects, negotiating master agreements, and coordinating with legal, finance, and owner’s engineer teams.

The role emphasizes delivering compliant contracts, managing changes, and ensuring project execution with a strong focus on risk management, supplier performance, and cross-functional collaboration in Houston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 8–10+ years in capital projects, supply chain, and EPC contracting.
• 5+ years leading commercial negotiation and post-award management of EPC/Design-Build contracts.
• Experience with large high-value contracts (+$100M) and supplier governance.

Responsibilities

• Own EPC master agreement and project scopes and related exhibits.
• Negotiate and finalize project Scopes and core documents to meet schedule.
• Monitor contract performance, risks, and changes with EPC partners.
• Provide commercial support to project controls and legal teams.
• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.
