Zusammenfassung

AeroVironment seeks a Senior Manager, Subcontracts Mgmt. to lead the Subcontract Management organization and drive supplier performance in cost, schedule, and technical metrics. You will work with the program team to align policies and best practices across contracts.

You will develop SOWs, negotiate terms, manage subcontracts and POs, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS/ITAR while coordinating with Finance, Legal, and Engineering to mitigate risks.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with DoD and Commercial subcontracts is required.
• Minimum 10+ years in DoD/Commercial subcontracts work.
• Minimum 5+ years in a team leadership role.
• Proven knowledge of diverse contract types and complex subcontracts.
• Experience with price/cost analysis and bid evaluations.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Solid knowledge of procurement law; FAR/DFARS/ITAR awareness.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Project management skills and portfolio management experience.
• Ability to travel within the Continental US or internationally as required.

Aufgaben

• Develop, execute, and maintain subcontract specifications and terms.
• Support strategic proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and cost analyses.
• Negotiate subcontract provisions, select subcontractors, and write awards.
• Monitor performance and maintain subcontract records per FAR/AV policies.
• Coordinate with Finance, Contracts, Legal, and other AV departments.
