Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to act as the primary interface across Program Management, Subcontracts, Contracts, Engineering, Finance and Quality. You will lead the full lifecycle of subcontracts from proposal development to closeout, ensuring alignment with program plans, budgets, and ITAR/EAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years supporting U.S. Government contracts or program management.
• Experience managing full lifecycle of subcontracts including proposal development and closeout.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one and SAP access if required.

Responsibilities

• Develop subcontract strategies aligned with program objectives and FAR/DFARS requirements.
• Manage lifecycle from proposal through closeout, with performance monitoring.
• Monitor technical performance baselines and corrective actions.
• Communicate and resolve issues across all program functions and suppliers.
• Plan and control subcontractor scope to ensure only required work is performed.
• Develop and maintain subcontract execution and supplier management plans.
• Lead reviews and recovery plans for subcontractor performance.
