The role involves negotiating contracts (FFP, CPFF, IDIQ), performing price/cost analysis, ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance, and coordinating with multiple functions to deliver program successes. Up to 10% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 7 years of subcontract experience.
• Graduate Degree with at least 5 years of subcontract experience; in lieu of a degree, 10 years of experience.
• Ability to travel 10% to West Coast/Mid-West Suppliers

Responsibilities

• Administer commercial subcontracts from pre-award through closeout, including FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ, and OTA-related agreements, ensuring full compliance with FAR, DFARS, and prime contract requirements.
• Lead subcontract solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, award, modification, and closeout activities for high-value and high-risk programs.
• Develop and negotiate Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing structures, milestone schedules, and subcontract terms and conditions.
• Perform and document price and cost analysis, determine price reasonableness, and support compliance with TINA and cost allowability requirements.
• Ensure all subcontract files are CPSR-compliant, complete, and audit-ready; support DCMA CPSR, SPCR, and DCAA audits as required.
• Monitor subcontractor performance related to cost, schedule, quality, and technical requirements, and lead resolution of performance, delivery, and compliance issues.
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices to ensure allowable, allocable, reasonable, and contractually compliant costs.
• Travel to key suppliers for bi-annual reviews, site reviews, and manage strategic partnerships.
• Experience with New Product Introduction, Production, and End of Life product Life cycle.
