Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Subcontracts to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of subcontracts, from sourcing and bid packages to negotiations, awards, administration, and closeout. This role interfaces with program teams and suppliers, ensuring compliant, cost-effective contracting.

Based in Rochester, NY or Melbourne, FL, you will lead bid evaluations, negotiate terms, and coordinate modifications, with a focus on risk management, supplier performance, and adherence to

Qualifications

• Experience in Government and Commercial Contracting/subcontracting.
• Experience managing various subcontract types: hardware, software, services.
• Knowledge of UCC, FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead full subcontract lifecycle from sourcing to closeout.
• Manage technical, schedule, cost, and risk for suppliers.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and modifications with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with policies and perform cost/price analyses.
• Maintain subcontract files for audits and reviews.
