Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Malabar, FL is hiring a Senior Specialist, Subcontracts to manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts, from sourcing to closeout. You will coordinate with engineering, quality, finance, and planning to ensure successful program execution across diverse customer segments including U.S.

Federal Government and international programs. The role demands strong negotiation skills, knowledge of FAR/ITAR, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; or 4+ years with graduate degree
• Experience with subcontracts and DoD contracting

Responsibilities

• Drive all aspects of major subcontract execution (cost, schedule, technical, quality) and full integration of the subcontract work scope within the program.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Planning to support Program Management and Business Development
• Serve as the main Subcontracts focal point to Military Avionics Sector assigned programs
• Analyze diverse issues and communicate effectively to Program and Supply Chain Leadership
• Support high-dollar value proposals and subcontracts and develop negotiation strategies
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Work with FAR, ITAR and export control requirements and contract flow-downs
• Provide risk mitigation plans and supplier evaluation for source selection
