This position requires strategic thinking, cross-functional credibility, and readiness to travel as needed, within a dynamic SMS Subcontracts environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 10+ years related experience in lieu of degree.
• Graduate degree with 4+ years related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, ITAR, and export controls.
• Experience with various contract types (FFP, CP, T&M, FPLH).
• Experience with subcontract development, negotiation, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Own major subcontract execution including cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality.
• Lead proposal development, negotiations, and contract execution for high-dollar subcontracts.
• Develop subcontract specs, statements of work, and T&Cs.
• Prepare bid packages and conduct bidder conferences; select subcontractors and administer awards.
• Negotiate and coordinate subcontract modifications and deletions.
• Support sourcing strategy and risk mitigation across programs.
• Coordinate with Trade Compliance on export control markings.
