Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Manager to oversee subcontract administration for sponsored programs in the Materials Sector. You will review RFPs, draft subcontracts, and cost analyses, negotiate terms, and monitor performance through closeout.

The role requires advising on federal procurement policies and regulations. You’ll serve the Subcontracts Team Lead and collaborate with Principal Investigators and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Eight years of related experience.
• Three years of purchasing or subcontracting experience in government contracting or research administration fields.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of federal procurement regulations, including FAR, DFAR, and federal grant regulations.
• Significant negotiation experience in purchasing or subcontracting.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of federal procurement regulations, including the FAR, DFAR, and federal grant regulations.
• Advanced contract drafting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform subcontract management for sponsored programs.
• Review RFPs, draft subcontract documents, and cost analyses.
• Negotiate subcontracts independently.
• Monitor subcontract performance and closeout processes.
• Assist Subcontracts Team Lead with management of the subcontract administration function.
• Advise Principal Investigators and senior management on subcontracting policies and regulatory requirements.
