Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Manager, Subcontracts to lead the strategy, formation, and administration of major project subcontracts in the US. You will direct negotiations, manage contractor performance, and protect commercial interests across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with project leadership, legal, procurement, and construction teams to ensure contractual alignment, risk mitigation, and timely delivery. Strong leadership and sector experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline; 15+ years in subcontract management or commercial roles.
• Experience negotiating complex construction/ EPC contracts and subcontractor agreements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage post‑award contract administration.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract strategy development aligned with project objectives.
• Oversee formation, administration, and closeout of subcontracts.
• Manage contract changes, claims, and negotiation with contractors.
• Monitor performance to ensure compliance with schedules, quality, and risk controls.
• Coordinate with Legal, Procurement, Construction, and Project teams.
• Provide guidance on contractual rights, remedies, and dispute avoidance.
