Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Subcontracts Administrator I to act as the primary liaison between subcontractors and programs under a federal contract. You will manage proposals, evaluate bids, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, and maintain auditable files while supporting program and engineering teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years of subcontract experience, including DoD exposure, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of subcontract, government and commercial experience in negotiation and administration of subcontracts.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS contracting policies and procedures; DoD experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares recommended source lists of qualified subcontractors.
• Prepares RFPs/RFQs and verifies completeness of proposal packages.
• Interfaces with program, project, safety, security, data management, and accounting teams to gather necessary data.
• Negotiates specifications, statements of work, price, and other provisions with subcontractors per FAR/DFARS and JT4 policies.
• Maintains auditable subcontract files per government requirements and JT4 policies.
• Builds strong relationships with first-tier subcontractors and coordinates with range managers and engineering/finance teams.
• Prepares procurement documents and change orders with FAR flow-downs; tracks records and payments.
• Serves as liaison between subcontractors and Subject Matter Experts; promotes cost reduction and performance improvements.
