Job summary

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy. The Subcontracts Administrator interfaces with subcontractors and internal teams to manage proposals, negotiations, and compliance under FAR/DFARS guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree, 7–10 years of subcontract experience, DoD exposure, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Travel may be required; Maximo experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; DoD experience preferred.
• 7–10 years of subcontract experience in federal government and commercial settings.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS contracting policies and procedures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance; valid driver’s license.
• Maximo Purchasing System knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares recommended source lists of qualified subcontractors.
• Prepares Request for Proposal/Quotation packages and verifies accuracy.
• Interfaces with program, project, safety, security, data management, and accounting teams to ensure complete data.
• Negotiates specifications, statements of work, price, and other provisions with subcontractors per FAR/DFARS and JT4 policies.
• Maintains auditable subcontract files and ensures compliance with government requirements.
• Develops plans to promote cost reductions and performance improvements in supplier execution.
