Job summary

Garver in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Contract Procurement Manager to oversee contract procurement activities, review prime agreements, and ensure subcontract terms align with Garver's prime contracts.

You will draft, negotiate, and revise subcontracts, MSAs, amendments, and work orders; mentor procurement staff; and support project managers while maintaining confidentiality and meeting project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least three years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of contracts, procurement fundamentals, and risk awareness.
• Strong organization and attention to detail managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise prudent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train contract procurement staff in daily tasks.
• Review prime agreements to identify risk terms and flow-down into subcontracts.
• Draft, review, and revise subcontracts, MSAs, amendments, work orders, and procurement documents.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of contract deliverables.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Advise Project Managers and staff on subcontracting requirements and processes.
• Summarize contract requirements, regulations, and internal policies.
• Assist Commercial Counsel Team with prime agreement compliance checks.
• Provide training and support for Subcontract Procurement staff and other Legal staff.
• Negotiate subcontract terms aligned with prime agreements and company policies.
• Prepare, distribute, and obtain documents to execute subconsultant agreements with schedule awareness.
• Maintain status reports for internal reporting.
• Support other ad hoc projects within Contract Procurement and broader Legal Team.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
