Job summary

Garver, an employee-owned engineering and environmental services firm, seeks a Contract Procurement Manager in Dallas, TX to manage contract procurement activities, mentor staff, and ensure subcontract terms align with Garver's prime agreements. You will draft and negotiate subcontracts, master service agreements, amendments, and related documents to minimize risk while supporting project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of contracts and procurement fundamentals; risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and assist contract procurement staff.
• Review prime agreements to identify risk-related terms and ensure flow-down into subcontracts.
• Draft, review, and revise subcontracts, MSAs, amendments, and related procurement documents.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of contract deliverables.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Advise Project Managers on subcontracting requirements and procurement processes.
• Communicate contract requirements and internal policies clearly.
• Assist with prime agreement compliance checks.
• Provide training and support for subcontract staff.
• Negotiate subcontract terms to align with prime agreements.
• Prepare and distribute documents to execute subconsultant agreements, mindful of project schedule.
• Maintain internal status reports.
• Support other ad hoc projects within Contract Procurement Team and Legal Team.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.
