Job summary

This role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, with responsibilities spanning bid preparation, negotiations, and contract administration for high‑risk, defense‑oriented subcontracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures (FAR/DFAR).
• Working knowledge of standard contract types.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail- and teamwork-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to make business-based decisions both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and evaluate proposals.
• Negotiate subcontract provisions, select/recommend subcontractors, and issue awards.
• Administer subcontracts and manage change activities.
• Maintain procurement authority and sign supplier agreements within established limits.
