Job summary

Indiana University Indianapolis is seeking a Sr. Student Services Leader to drive enrollment growth for MA and BA programs and to oversee advising, scholarship administration, and student engagement events.

You will build partnerships with community and campus partners to create internship opportunities and responsive student services. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to excellence in student services, with the ability to work across departments to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree requirement in a relevant field.
Master's degree preferred in higher education or student affairs.
4 years in student services or higher education student affairs.
1 year of management experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

Provides operational leadership and coordinates staff to define student services standards and initiatives.
Establishes short- and long-term objectives, manages timelines and resources for multi-project initiatives.
Handles personnel actions including hiring, promotion, and performance management.
Oversees student services resources across departments and partners with academic and communications teams.
Makes budgetary recommendations and ensures cost containment.
Stays updated on student services standards and implements new procedures.
Collaborates with other student services leaders on policies and standards.
Prepares summaries for senior administration and serves on committees.
