Pratt & Whitney in Oklahoma City seeks a Principal Structures Engineer to perform structural analyses on military engine programs, ensuring durability of MSEN components.

You will conduct FEA, LCF/HCF, and damage tolerance assessments, support redesigns for maintainability and service life, and present conclusions to management and external customers.

Travel is less than 10% domestically; relocation assistance is available as part of the package.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8 years of relevant experience
• Master's degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in engineering design and/or structural analysis using FEM
• Knowledge of LCF, HCF, Fracture Mechanics or Kinematics analysis

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural analyses for MRO operations (bearing compartments, gears, ducts)
• Conduct FEA and fatigue life assessments (LCF/HCF)
• Support redesigns to improve durability and maintainability
• Apply advanced FEM modeling and simulation tools
• Document methods and present conclusions to management and customers
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering methods
