Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with bridges, foundations, retaining walls, and other civil structures.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schedules.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage a diverse team.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to Louisiana sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site structural construction activities.
• Develop and implement project schedules for structural components.
• Monitor daily progress and address delays with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations; lead safety meetings.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Direct field personnel and provide performance feedback.
• Conduct quality control inspections of structural work.
• Prepare daily and progress reports and required documentation.
• Identify and implement efficient construction methods and technologies.
