Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a Structure Superintendent to lead all on-site structural construction activities for heavy civil projects in Louisiana. You will supervise field crews, interpret blueprints, and coordinate with project management to keep work safe, on schedule, and within budget.

The role requires 5–10 years in heavy civil construction, strong knowledge of bridge work and foundations, and proven leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive heavy civil construction experience.
• Proven experience with bridge construction, foundations, and retaining walls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site structural construction activities.
• Develop and implement project schedules for structural components.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Interpret drawings to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Direct field personnel and provide performance feedback.
• Perform quality inspections and document progress with reports.
