Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects in Louisiana. You will plan, execute, and close projects, manage teams, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will develop schedules and budgets, monitor costs, and communicate with clients and engineers. Travel to job sites is required as projects span multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of project management experience in heavy civil construction, preferably in Louisiana.
• Demonstrated track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong reading of blueprints, specs, and contract documents.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and cost-control techniques.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and close-out.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors for collaboration.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company policies.
• Serve as primary client/engineer contact and manage expectations.
• Negotiate subcontracts, POs, and change orders.
• Prepare progress reports, financial summaries, and risk assessments.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.
• Approve invoices and monitor cost tracking.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
