Job summary

Bechtel in New Albany, Ohio, is seeking a Construction Subcontracts Lead to support and oversee field subcontracts for the Phase 1 Ohio One project, including major steel erection of the FAB Building. You will review progress, prepare change orders, and coordinate with project controls and site teams.

You should have a bachelor's degree and 8–14 years of subcontracting or field supervision experience, strong safety values, and proficient communication and cost-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required; 8–10 years experience or 12–14 years in related fields.
• Extensive experience managing complex subcontract scopes.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Interface with steel erection subcontractors and coordinate with site teams.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate subcontractor work with lead superintendents and engineers.
• Review progress, validate quantities, and assist with change orders and CQPs.
• Monitor subcontractor quality, safety, and submittals, and coordinate with Engineering.
