Job summary

This senior role oversees a portfolio of projects, mentors Project Managers, drives profitability, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in structural steel construction
• Proven project management experience across multiple projects
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasting and commercial risk
• Experience mentoring Project Managers and senior teams
• Excellent stakeholder management with general contractors and clients

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level oversight across a portfolio of structural steel fabrication and erection projects.
• Lead, mentor and develop Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost-to-complete, profitability and commercial risk.
• Coordinate with fabrication, detailing, procurement and field operations teams to ensure delivery.
• Support complex contract negotiations, change orders and disputes.
• Identify risks and implement recovery strategies.
• Build relationships with general contractors, clients and subcontractors.
• Improve project management processes and reporting standards.
• Support leadership in resource planning and strategic growth.
