Job summary

Zohorecruit in Mesa, Colorado is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder to join our fabrication facility. This full-time, on-site role requires independent fitting, assembly, and welding of structural members from shop drawings.

You will read prints, lay out, and weld to print, manage weld symbols, fit-up, and ensure quality before QC. Safety, accountability, and ability to work with heavy steel are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel fabrication and welding.
• Ability to read shop drawings and weld symbols.
• Capable of layout, fit-up, and accurate measurements.
• Familiarity with AWS/FCAW and NDT considerations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret structural shop drawings and weld details.
• Layout, fit, assemble, and weld structural members per print.
• Fabricate beams, columns, stairs, and related structures.
• Prepare and install plates, gussets, and other connections.
• Perform self-inspection and ensure QC readiness.
• Operate fabrication equipment safely and follow procedures.
