Job summary

A structural steel fabricator in Arizona is seeking Welders/Fitters for a safety sensitive position. You'll perform layout and fit up from blueprints and utilize various welding procedures including SMAW. Ideal candidates should have proven ability to read blueprints, lead a crew, and possess experience in welding. The physical demands include moving equipment and lifting up to 75 lbs. Qualifications

• Must have Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) experience.
• Able to certify with any process in any position.
• Experience in carbon arc and reading AWS weld symbols.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout and fit up from blueprints.
• Utilize Dual Shield, MIG, SMAW and Sub-Arc welding procedures.
• Cut, cope, drill and fabricate parts from blueprints.
