Qualifications

• AWS welding certification (3G/4G) required.
• Read and interpret structural plans and shop drawings.
• 1–3 years metal shop experience.
• Able to lift 50 lbs in a demanding environment.
• Familiar with D1.1 code standards.
• Experience with FCAW and SMAW.
• Experience with CJP requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong safety culture and OSHA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Involved primarily in Structural Field Erection.
• Read and interpret Structural Plan sets and Shop Drawings.
• Perform fitting and fabrication to D1.1 standards.
• Operate general shop tools and forklift/telehandler.
• Maintain safety standards per OSHA and site practices.
• Assist with anchoring, footings, and stair stringers as needed.
