Job summary

gpac is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on steel connection design and analysis. The role includes evaluating connections, reviewing shop drawings, and supporting erection engineering on large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of structural experience, a civil/structural engineering degree, and credentials such as EIT/PE/SE. Proficiency in Ram Connection, RISA, and Revit is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering is required.
• EIT/PE/SE certification is required or strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience with steel design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis for delegated steel connection design projects.
• Design steel connections and miscellaneous steel elements; assist with erection engineering.
• Develop calculations, review shop drawings, prepare submittals and RFIs.
• Review 3D BIM models to aid building design and shop drawing accuracy.
